UD Arena renovation won’t affect basketball season


KATIE: THE PRICE TAG ON THE PROJECT… IS 72-MILLION- DOLLARS. AND THE DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS CALLS IT “TRANSFORMATIONAL.”MARK: 2 NEWS REPORTER DANA SMITH IS LIVE AT U-D ARENA WITH THE CHANGES IN THE WORKS. IT’S HOSTED MORE NCAA TOURNAMENT GAMES THAN ANY OTHER BUILDING IN THE COUNTRY. UD PRESIDENT ERIC SPINA SAID CONSTRUCTION AT THE ARENA WILL BE STAGGERED TO ACCOMMODATE FUTURE GAMES.
