  1. Great video but could you please be a little more specific with your instructions, eg. How long does it have to dry, how long does it have to be in the saltwater etc.

  2. Such a great idea! I also like the way you presented the instruction. Can I connect this to a 5 volt buzzer to make it sound louder? theoretically, can you connect a buzzer the voltage that matches equally or less than the battery used? And would this cause any kind of short out to start a fire should the water rise high enough to cover the whole thing?

  3. I have a question. How to make the buzzer stop without change the sponge or put it off from the battery?

  4. Do you think that this could be used to power an ESP01 (ESP8266) WIFI microcontroller so that it sends a message to my home automation? The battery would have to be changed to a 3.3v source but do you think that the sponge would be able to source enough power through it to power the chip?
